Yearly Meeting

At our Sunday meetings some of us are Quakers, others are visitors who are exploring spirituality. We meet mainly in silence, often guided by a reading from Quaker Advice and Queries. Occasionally individuals might speak to stand and share a thought, experience or insight with the rest of the Meeting.

Our Meeting House facilities include:

  • Induction loop for people with hearing aids
  • Access and facilities for disabled people
  • A children's room
  • A well equipped kitchen
  • Car parking for about 20 cars
  • Cushioned seating
  • A beautiful orchard

Children's Meeting, normally the first three Sundays of the month but not in August. If you are planning to bring your family along do read our Children's Meeting page.

Enquirers Meeting:

If you'd like to find out more about Quakers; or if you'd like to try our kind of Meeting for less than an hour, why not come along to the Meeting House on the 2nd Sunday of every month at 09.30, and ask for the Library? You will then have the opportunity to join our Meeting for Worship at 10.30.

Refreshments

At about 11.40 on Sundays we have refreshments, and on the 3rd Sunday, a Bring and Share lunch. (Please bring along some food to share with others if you can!).  For us, sharing lunch together deepens our sense of fellowship and enriches our community.

There is another Quaker Meeting nearby:
